PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a base metal, and to increase durability to strong alkalinity and strong acidity. SOLUTION: An abrasive grain layer 23 containing superabrasve grains 14 dispersed and disposed in a metal plated phase 15 is attached to the surface 24c of the projection 24b of the base metal 22 made of an amorphous carbon sintered compact. The abrasive grain layer 23 is formed by sintering amorphous carbon at a high temperature to provide high conductivity, and applying direct plating during the formation of the base metal 22.
