PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soft magnetic Fe-Cr-Al alloy optimum for the yokes of various motors, high in maximum magnetic flux density Bm and also having excellent workability as well. SOLUTION: This alloy contains, by weight, 8 to 16% Cr, 0.8 to 2.5% A, <=0.05% C, <=0.6% Si, <=1.0% Mn, <=0.04% P, <=0.01% S, <=0.05% N, <=0.3% Ti (including the case of no addition), and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, in which Bm in a high frequency region is >=11,000, and Hv is <=150. |
