PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a method and apparatus capable of filling a container with content at a position where a parison is held by closing a mold without moving the mold laterally or obliquely simultaneously with the molding of the container. SOLUTION: A content filling pipe 3 is provided to the die head 1 of a blow molding machine in a freely up and down movable manner in parallel to an air supply channel 2 and the ejection port 3a provided to the leading end of the pipe 3 is arranged so as to be positioned within the parison extruding port 4 of the die head 1 and, at first, a parison P is molded by a mold so as not to close the mouth part of a container molded by a main body mold and, at the same time, the pipe 3 is allowed to fall to fill the molded container with content from the ejection port 3a and, subsequently, the throat 3 is allowed to retreat upwardly to seal the mouth part of the container in a blind lid state by a sealing mold.
