PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an ignition or an explosion from occurring in a dryer by taking out air in the dryer to the outside for a time, changing oxygen to CO2 or CO by passing the oxygen through a heated activated charcoal or a combustible solid substance, and at the same time, converting the harmful CO into CO2 with an oxidation catalyst and returning CO2 into the machine. SOLUTION: In the dryer for dry cleaning, there is a fear for the generation of a spark due to the rubbing of laundry with each other, or a contact of a metal fitting or the like of laundry with a metal drum in the machine or the like, and there is a risk that the spark ignites the vapor of an organic solvent being a washing liquid, and the vapor explodes. Then, air in the dryer is taken out to the outside for a time, and the oxygen is introduced to an activated charcoal heating chamber 1, and is passed through a heated activated charcoal, and thus, the oxygen is changed to CO2 or CO. Also, after converting the harmful CO into CO2 with an oxidation catalyst in an oxidation chamber 2, the CO2 is returned into the machine. By an oxygen reducing effect obtained in such a manner, and a combustion suppressing effect of CO2, an ignition of the vapor of the organic solvent, and an explosion in the machine are prevented from occurring, and a safe operation is made possible.
