PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cationic curable composition maintaining characteristics of high modulus of elasticity and high strength and excellent flexibility. SOLUTION: This method for producing a cationic curable composition comprises subjecting a monomer mixture composed of (A) a vinyl monomer containing a 3-7 membered ring cyclic ether group and (B) a vinyl monomer except the component A to radical polymerization.
