PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fungicidal composition for agriculture and horticulture, showing excellent germicidal action on injurious microorganisms. SOLUTION: This fungicidal composition for agriculture and horticulture is characterized by comprising at least one kind selected from the group consisting of chlorothalonil, sulfenic acid, zineb, maneb, manzeb and a copper compound, and a phosethyl as active compounds. The copper compound is an inorganic salt or an organic one having been used for a germicidal composition for agriculture and horticulture and is e.g. a chloride, an oxychloride, a carbonate, an oxide, a hydroxide, a sulfate, a phosphate, a silicate, a zinc chromate, a hydrazinium sulfate, an acetate, an 8-hydroxyquinoline salt, an oxalate, a bis(3-phenylsalicylate), a naphthenate, a linolenate, an oleate or the like.
