PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable runner fixer which can decrease the difference between fatigue degrees with the passage of a working time in comparison with works using conventional runner fixers and can reduce the work. SOLUTION: This runner fixer comprises a hollow bar-like article 5 produced from a biodegradable resin and has both the ends 2, 3 cut at an inclination angle of 30 to 65 degree to the axis of the runner fixer. The method for producing the runner fixer comprises extruding the biodegradable resin from an extruder, cooling the extruded hollow bar-like article with cooling water, draining and drying the article, and then cutting both the ends of the dried article in a prescribed length at an inclination angle of 30 to 65 degree.
