摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent supercharged pressure from exceeding the allowable upper limit without using a relief valve as fuel safe mechanism, when a pressure- adjusting mechanism for supercharged pressure fails. SOLUTION: If supercharged pressure Pb is not less than a prescribed value Po (S1), a fuel injection quantity Tp in failure is calculated (S2), on the basis of an engine rotational speed Ne. The fuel injection quantity Tp in a failure is set small than the fuel injection quantity in the normal state, when a pressure adjusting mechanism is not failing. A fuel injection device is controlled (S4) on the basis of the calculated fuel injection quantity Tp in a failure. Accordingly, when the pressure adjusting mechanism for supercharged pressure fails, generated torque is reduced by reducing the fuel injection quantity, and supercharged pressure can be controlled to an allowable upper limit or lower.
