PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary excavating blade drive control device for shield machine capable of reducing a size and a production cost of the device and preventing a local stress-strain from being produced by a reaction from a natural ground. SOLUTION: A pair of projected jacks 8 and a pair of guide tubes 14 are disposed on a column 4 of a support plate 21 of a rotary excavator (cutter head) 2 at the end parts opposed to each other, and four auxiliary excavating blades 7 are installed, at specified intervals, on the front face of an auxiliary excavating blade mounting plate 12 having one end of a piston bar of the projected jack 8 and one end of a sliding tube 13 in contact slidably with the internal surface of the guide tube 14. First the auxiliary excavating blade 7 is moved backward to an escape position at the rear of a face plate 5 and, when the excavating capacity of a main excavating blade 6 is lowered, the projected jack 8 is extended to project the auxiliary excavating blade 7 from the face plate 5 to the same longitudinal position as the main excavating blade 6 positioned forward thereof, and a moving jack 9 is extended to fit a movably supporting member 11 to the rear side of the auxiliary excavating blade mounting plate 12 so as to support the auxiliary excavating blade mounting plate 12 from the rear side. |
