PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonogrpah which can apply application functions with a higher operability in the storing and reproduction of images. SOLUTION: The operations of an image information control memory 120, a memory 110 for reproducing reserved images and an auxiliary memory 100 are controlled by an image control software 140. An image data and attached information of the image are simultaneously stored into the auxiliary memory 100 and taken out as independent data during the reproduction to allow the applying of application functions including the display and measurement of images. This enables the consolidation of an operation procedure and an operating means in the storing and reproduction of images and a control soft.
