PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a decorative fiber board of superior bonding properties with a moistureproof paper and provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A decorative fiber board is formed of a woody fiber board 22, a decorative sheet 23 and a moistureproof paper 21, and decorative edges 24 of step shape are formed thereon. Sections facing the decorative edges 24 of the moistureproof paper 21 are in the state of being cut and broken along the decorative edges 24. The decorative fiber board is manufactured by press molding under the vacuum state, and cuts breakable when the molding is carried out are formed on the sections facing the decorative edges 24 of the moistureproof paper 21.
