PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realizes a method of stabilizing a magnetic field, a magnetic field generator and a magnetic field imager which are not affected by temperature distribution of a space to be installed. SOLUTION: When stabilizing a magnetic field of magnetic field generator 2 having a pair of permanent magnets opposing each other through space and a yoke constituting a magnetic circuit for these permanent magnets, the temperature of each plural place is stabilized by controlling (172 and 174) each heat quantity to act to the plural places based on temperatures detected at plural places 154 and 158 of the yoke.
