LATERAL TRANSFER CONVEYOR OF WALKING-TYPE VEGETABLE HARVESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking-type vegetable harvester capable of efficiently performing the farm work from harvesting to storage by placing a harvesting means to dig up and harvest the vegetables above a traveling part of the harvester bestriding a ridge and protruding a steering handle at the back of the harvester. SOLUTION: The objective walking-type vegetable harvester is provided with a harvesting means 6 extending from the upper part to the front part of a traveling part and a steering handle 18 protruded backward. A conveyor 9 is placed at the lower back side of the harvesting means perpendicularly to the traveling direction and power is transmitted from the transfer driving part of the harvesting means to the driving shaft of the conveyor to synchronize the harvesting and transfer motion with lateral transfer driving motion. A transfer belt 65 constituting the conveyor is a narrow endless belt 59 having concave cross-section. A pair of conveyor belts are arranged at the right and left sides relatively to the transfer direction, a dropping hole 84a is opened between the right and left endless belts and a cutting part 86 is placed under the dropping hole 84a.
