PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cane harvester enabling the saving of labor for the recovery of trash and the effective utilization of trash. SOLUTION: The cane harvester is provided with a suction apparatus 14 placed in a manner to position the suction port 15 in a path extending from a chopping cutter 9 to a cane storage bag 12. A trash frame 16 is attached to the rearmost part of a frame 11 opposite to a discharging port 18 and a trash holding bag 17 is attached to the trash frame 16. Trash 20 having light weight is sucked with the suction apparatus 14 and held in the trash holding bag 17. The labor for the recovery of a large amount of trash generated in the harvest of sugar cane can be saved and the trash can be effectively utilized by this harvester.
