PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter by which the temp. of a fluid supplied to the inside of a body by way of the catheter is restricted to be changed with body temp. and also which is used for inserting an instrument to the inside of the body, which is suitable for a treatment in a part of the body and consists of a shape memory alloy in at least a part of it. SOLUTION: A flow passage 11 where the fluid to be supplied to the inside of the body passes through or a passage where an instrument consisting of the shape memory alloy in at least a part of it passes through is positioned at a center part. A going route 12 where a heat insulating fluid to be used for fixedly keeping the temp. of the flow passage 11 or the passage passes through or a coming route 13 where the fluid after passing through the route 12 passes through are formed along the flow passage 11 or the passage. A communicating part where the route 12 communicates with the route 13 is arranged in the far end of the catheter or in the neighborhood of it. |
