PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for assembling a silo in which cost is reduced and the efficiency of a space is improved while the safety of an operator is also ensured. SOLUTION: In the silo assembling method, a plurality of jacks 28 are arranged on the inner circumferential side of the ring 26 of a cylindrical body as the assembly member of the silo. A wire 30 is stretched on lifting-lowering rods for the jacks 28 and another end section of the wire 30 is connected to the ring 26. The ring 26 is elevated through the wire 30 by the lifting-lowering rods, and a new ring 26 is formed in the lower section of the ring 26 and bonded with the ring 26. The silo is assembled by successively the rings 26 from the rings 26 in upper layers by connecting the wire 30 to the new rings 26 and lifting the lifting-lowering rods.
