PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor capable of changing drive speed of steps without removing an existing control part. SOLUTION: An existing first control part 10 is used as it is, only a second control part 11 having a power converter 2 converting frequency, a speed control circuit 23 controlling frequency conversion by transmitting a speed command to the power converter 22, and a power supply control circuit 25 controlling a power supply of the power converter 22 is added newly, and the second control part 11 is electrically connected between the first control part 10 and an electric motor 2.
