This invention provides a sheet made of a synthetic resin for holding information recording carriers in the form of small thin plate such as floppy disks and the like. Index strips (6) are removably formed in the holding sheet (1), and an insertion groove (7) for mounting the removed index strips (6) is formed on one side edge of the holding sheet (1), thereby the wanted information recording carrier held in the sheet can easily be found. The elements constituting the holding sheet (1) do not overlap when viewed from the front side and backside of the holding sheet, so that the holding sheet can be produced by injection molding wherein the mold is moved in only one direction perpendicular to the plane of the holding sheet. Thus, the holding sheet is suited for large scale production and its production cost is low.
