发明名称 TITANIA FILM-FORMED MEMBER AND ITS PRODUCTION
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the decorative property and sealing effect of the member without causing the oxidation of a base material by carrying a titania film of a specified thickness essetially consisting of amorphous type titanium peroxide or anatase type titanium oxide on the surface of a base material composed of Cu or an alloy thereof. SOLUTION: On the surface of a base material 1 composed of Cu or a Cu alloy such as brass and phosphor bronze, a titania film 2 of a thickness of 0.1 to 2μm essentially consisting of amorphous type titanium peroxide or anatase type titanium oxide is carried to obtain a titania film-formed member excellent in decorative property and having high sealing effect. The titania film essentially consisting of amorphous type titanium oxide is formed by coating the surface of a copper substrate with an amorphous type titanium oxide sol and executing heating at a temp. of about 70 to 200 deg.C in a reducing atmosphere. Moreover, the titania film essentially consisting of anatase type titanium oxide is formed by heating sol coating contg. amorphous type titanium peroxide and/or anatase type titanium oxide at a temp. of 200 to about 500 deg.C in a reducing atmosphere.
