PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film hardly suffering from re-dissolution when exposed to a rainfall soon after the application and improved in water resistance by compounding a main agent containing a specific synthetic resin emulsion and a curing agent containing a polyisocyanate. SOLUTION: With 100 pts.wt., in terms of solids, of a main agent containing a synthetic resin emulsion comprising as a copolymerizing monomer a hydroxyl group-containing monomer and/or an acid monomer, such as acylate ester-based, acryl-styrene copolymer-based, vinyl acetate-acryl copolymer-based or other acryl resin-based emulsions, acryl-silicone resin-based emulsion or the like, and having a gel fraction of at least 70% are admixed 5-250 pts.wt. of a curing agent containing a polyisocyanate having an allophanate structure and an isocyanurate structure and having an NCO content of 10-30%. As required, a pigment, a filler and other additives are compounded to give a polyurethane coating composition having a viscosity of 0.5 Pa.s.
