PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a carrying time for articles to be carried and an occupying time by each carrying device, improve an operation rate, by installing a transfer device for carrying the articles to be carried between automated storage and retrieval systems and a carrying vehicle. SOLUTION: This automatic carrying system is equipped with plural carrying vehicles 3 being peripherally turning on a loop track 4 in the same direction, to automatically carry articles 7 to be carried, and automated storage and retrieval systems 6 for storing the articles 7. In this case, transfer devices 8, for carrying the articles 7 between the storage and system 6 and the vehicle 3, are installed to prepare transferring in the storage and systems 6, and to travel the vehicle 3 in parallel.
