HEIGHT/DISPLACEMENT MEASURING DEVICE FOR TROLLEY WIRE ON ELECTRIC OVERHEAD LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically measure the height to a trolley wire and the displacement quantity from the center of a track simply and accurately by slidably supporting a measuring instrument combined with a laser range finder and an encoder on a measurement base installed between right and left rails in the width direction of the track. SOLUTION: This measuring instrument is constituted of a measurement section 1 and a control section 2. The measurement section 1 is constituted of a laser range finder 5 having a radiating window 3 and a receiving window 4 of a laser beam and an encoder measuring the displacement quantity from the track center. The control section 2 calculates the height to a trolley wire 17 and the displacement quantity from the track center and displays the height and displacement on a height display window 8 and a displacement display window 9. The measurement section 1 is slidably and removably fitted to a slide rail 10 suspended in the width direction of the track at the prescribed height from the track surface as a measurement base. The height H of the trolley wire 17 from the track surface and the displacement S from the track center can be measured simply and accurately.
