PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a cutting fluid to simplify after-treatment such as cleaning after cutting of a work, to improve cutting performance, and to elongate a service life of a cutting tool. SOLUTION: A cutting device has a drill mechanism 10, an air blow mechanism 12, a table 14, and a cramp mechanism 16 fixed on the table 14. A drill 20 of the drill mechanism 10 is made of a hard material. A spindle part 24 connected with the drill 20 is provided with a heat-electricity converting element 26, a heat radiating member 28, and a space part 30 for flowing a cooling liquid, while a heat insulating member 36 is provided between a retention part 25 and a spindle body 27 of the spindle part 24. Therefore, heat is radiated to the outside without using a cutting fluid, and cutting is executed with cooling a heat-generating position.
