PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite elastic body for crushing a corrugated board to apply processing, such as a ruling, on the corrugated board without breaking a liner. SOLUTION: A composite elastic body for crushing a board mounted along both sides of a ruling blade 3 mounted on a die plate 1 forms a layered product of an elastic body 11 having an elastic force higher than that of the corrugated board and a cushion material 12 having an elastic force lower than that of the corrugated board. A press surface 11a, pressing the corrugated board, of the elastic body 11 is inclined from one side of the running blade 3 side toward the other side. When the corrugated board is crushed by the composite elastic body, the cushion material 12 is compressed and deformed, in order, from one side of the ruling blade 3 side toward the other side. By pulling the portion, positioned facing the ruling blade 3, of the liner of the corrugated board through contact with the press surface 11a, breakage of the liner is prevented from occurring.
