PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase of labor and the increase of a load to be added to a traction device or the like in the case of an operation by improving a stability and suppressing bending when a bathing person is placed to relieve uneasiness in the case of getting-on/off or elevating/lowering and also permitting the traction direction of a wire by means of the traction device to be opposite to a load to attain the efficient work of a wire traction force. SOLUTION: A bathing assisting stretcher is provided with a stretcher frame 1, an elevating/lowering frame 2 and the traction device. The elevating/lowering frame is formed in a nearly parallel link shape from a head side frame 2a, a leg side frame 2b and a connection frame 2c and both placement members 31 and 32 are arranged in the head side frame and the connection frame. The stretcher is formed in such a way that the wire (the second wire 53) of the traction device is connected to the leg side and part of the elevating/lowering frame and the traction direction (an arrow A direction) of the wire becomes nearly the opposite direction of the downward rotary direction (an arrow B direction) of the leg side frame.
