SOLUTION: The ball lending machine is provided with a ball stopping mechanism 32. The ball stopping mechanism 32 is provided with both a ball stopping member 52 arranged in such a way that it can be protruded into and withdrawn from a replenishing ball supply channel 31 and a ball stopping solenoid 53 to protrude and withdraw the ball stopping member 52. A ball discharge regulating state is set at the time of regulating the discharge of balls such as an anomalous discharge of lent balls and maintenance work. By activating the ball stopping solenoid 53 under the condition of the setting of the ball discharge regulating state and protruding the ball stopping member 52 into the replenishing ball supply channel 31, the flow-down of game balls through the replenishing ball supply channel 31 is halted.
