PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate without conductive stopper by providing a distance measuring system corresponding to an edge of a plate. SOLUTION: Distance measuring systems 26 are disposed correspondingly to respective stoppers 21. The systems 26, 27 each has a solenoid coil 28, and a movable element 29 movable in the coil 28. A return spring presses the element 29 to a preset starting position. If a plate 16 is brought into contact with registering pins 21, 22, first the plate 16 is brought into contact with the elements 29 of the systems 26, 27 by punching portions 23, 24, and the element 29 is pressed against the return spring until the portions 23, 24 of the plate 16 are brought into contact with the pins 21, 22. Signals sent at each time to a control computer are compared with each other by a differential measuring method to display that moved distances measured between the pins 21, 22 and the portions 23, 24 are equal to '0'. |
