PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an operating swing arm to well absorb impulsive external forces and to keep a worker from fatigue. SOLUTION: This knapsack working machine has an engine on a back-borne frame and has a swingable arm 30 on its side. A throttle lever 40 on the arm 30 allows control of the engine. The base part 32 of the arm 30 is connected to a holder 20 by means of a bolt 36 which serves as the center of swing and a spring 38, and the holder 20 and the base part 32 of the arm 30 are brought into contact with each other only in a portion of each inclined face 23a, 33 formed therebetween, so that the arm 30 can swing within a plane perpendicular to the direction of swing (i.e., plane containing the axis of the bolt 36). |
