PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strip stock or sheet stock and its manufacturing method capable of dissolving rapid corrosion of a metal stock or the like. SOLUTION: A decorative metal made strip stock or sheet stock, preferably aluminum made strip stock, which is rolled/press-molded, which has nearly 0.05-1.0 mm, preferably nearly 0.1-0.8 mm thickness, a plurality of recesses 21 having nearly 0.001-0.05 mm, preferably nearly 0.02-0.035 mm depth on surfaces 17, 19 and moreover optional painted layers having nearly 3-30μm, preferably nearly 10-15μm thickness on the surfaces and inside the recesses 21, and also in which the ratio of the depth of the recesses 21 to the thickness of the strip stock or sheet stock ranges from nearly 1:5 to nearly 1:100, is provided.
