PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the dimensional precision and form two cut surfaces by one cutting process by forming cut surfaces parallel to both sides of an L-shaped sectional placing surface inclined at a prescribed angle on a square column material while carrying a truck having the square column material placed on the L-shaped sectional placing surface. SOLUTION: A truck 20 having a square column material 40 placed thereon is carried in by a carrying-in roller conveyor 26 and placed on a truck 20a. The truck 20a is carried to a cutting mechanism 30 in the state where a placing surface 21 on which the square column material 40 is placed is inclined at a prescribed angle. The cutting mechanism 30 is arranged in mutually shifted positions on both sides of the carrying passage of the truck 20a, and a saw board 31 is regulated to a desired cutting angle by a rotatable base part 32. The square column material 40 is cut by the cutting mechanism 30 according to the carrying operation of the square column material 40. According to this, cut surfaces having a prescribed depth and parallel to both surface of the inclined placing surface 21 are simultaneously formed on the square column material 40, whereby an L-shaped panel can be provided.
