PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable simplified water-proof umbrella cover holder miniaturized, improved in portability and gentle to environments. SOLUTION: This holder is composed of an upper umbrella cover holder 1 for holding ribs at hand and a ferrule top end stopper 2. An umbrella is covered with a vinyl umbrella cover, the ferrule top end stopper 2 is inserted from the upper part thereof, pressed and fixed by an umbrella top end spring part 9, and the vinyl umbrella cover is extended from the ferrule top end part to the at-hand of the umbrella and fixed on an umbrella cover holder ring 4 of the upper umbrella cover holder L for holding ribs at hand after the length is adjusted. The drops of water are stored inside the vinyl umbrella cover, water is discharged when opening the umbrella, the upper umbrella cover holder 1 for holding ribs at hand is joined with the fixed ferrule top end stopper 2 in use in rainfall, the vinyl umbrella cover can be easily used anytime over and over and this holder is miniaturized and light in weight so as to be carried with disassembly.
