PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display ink which enables two types of coloring excellent in at least contrast or whiteness while having a single composition of components, and a display medium using the display ink, a printing method using the display ink, and prints to be obtained by this printing method. SOLUTION: A display ink comprises dye A, pigment B, a solvent X which substantially dissolves the dye A, and a solvent Y which substantially does not dissolve the dye A, the solvent A and the solvent B being not completely miscible with each other. A display medium has a structure in which the display ink is made present in between two flat plates at least one of which is a transparent plate. A printing method comprises allowing the display ink to adhere to a material to be printed and removing the solvent in the ink, and prints are obtained by this method. |
