PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable and facilitate writing by holding a grip even for people who write by holding a writing tip end section, by attaching a grip for slip prevention comprising a flexible elastic body at the mouthpiece in a mechanical pencil wherein a lead is fed out by advancing a chuck located in the mouthpiece. SOLUTION: To a chuck 1, a lead tank 2 comprising a synthetic resin pipe is connected, and also, a clamping ring 3 is fitted on the head section 1A of the chuck 1, and at the same time, a spring 5 is bridged between a connector which receives the clamping ring 3 and the lead tank 2. In the meantime, in a mouthpiece 7, a lead holder 8 comprising an elastic body such as rubber, which holds a lead 6 is built in. In this case, on the outer peripheral surface of the mouthpiece 7, a circumferential recess 7A is formed. Then, on the outer peripheral surface of the mouthpiece 7, a grip 9 for slip prevention comprising a flexible elastic body such as rubber or a thermoplastic elastomer is fitted. That is, by fitting an engaging section 9A formed on the front section of the grip 9 in a manner to project inward, in the recess 7A, the grip 9 is attached to the mouthpiece 7. |
