PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the resistance to reduction and to obtain a ceramic composition exhibiting high specific dielectric constant and Q value in the microwave region by incorporating main components composed of each oxide of Ba, Ti, Nd, Sm and Pr in each specific ratio and a Bi-compound and a Fe-compound as sub-components into the ceramic composition. SOLUTION: The composition contains main components expressed by the compositional formula by molar ratio: xBaO-yTiO2-z (1-m-n)Nd2O3-mSm2O3-nPr2 O11/3}, wherein x+y+z=1, 0<m<=0.40, 0<n<=0.25, and x, y and z are each a value which presents on the line or inside of the polygon formed by connecting one by one the following four points in a ternary compositional diagram: (x=0.16, y=0.70, z=0.14), (x=0.16, y=0.68, z=0.16), (x=0.13, y=0.68, z=0.19), (x=0.13, y=0.70, z=0.17). To 100 parts by weight of this main components, a Bi-compound is added in an amount of <=9 parts by weight expressed in terms of Bi2O3 and a Fe-compound is added in an amount of <=0.3 parts by weight expressed in terms of F2O3, as sub-components. |
