PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make enjoyable a novel image display by displaying an image showing the start of a competition, then displaying the competition state of a plurality of characters, and giving game values when the result of the competition display shows prescribed sequences. SOLUTION: When a pachinko ball enters a start winning port, 'START' is displayed on the display section 16 of a variable display device arranged nearly at the center section of a game board, then the image of a horse racing game is displayed. When a player pushes a pari-mutuel ticket buying button, numbers 45, 46 of the first place and second place of bought pari-mutuel tickets are displayed in frames 43, 44 for displaying the first place and second place. The state that racing horses 50a-50h which are multiple characters are aligned in a start gate 49 and a course 48 are image-displayed, then the horse racing game is started. When the first place and second place coincide with the bought pari-mutuel tickets as the result of the horse racing game, the opening/closing door of a variable winning device is opened as a big bonus state. |
