LONG-CHAIN ALKYL-BASED RELEASING AGENT, ITS PRODUCTION, SEPARATOR, AND TACKY ADHESIVE SHEET SUBJECTED TO BACK RELEASING TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for the production of a long-chain alkyl-based releasing agent free from the problems of environmental hygiene, safety and workability (coating workability), having excellent peeling performance on tacky adhesive face and exhibiting high residual adhesive power of the tacky adhesive face after peeling. SOLUTION: The objective long-chain alkyl-based releasing agent is composed mainly of an acrylic copolymer produced by a living radical polymerization of a monomer mixture containing a monomer having long-chain alkyl group and expressed by formula 1A: CH2=C(R1)COOR2 (R1 is hydrogen or methyl group; R2 is a 12-22C alkyl group) and a monomer having epoxy group and expressed by formula 2A: CH2=C(R3)COOR4 (R3 is hydrogen or methyl group; R4 is an alkyl group having epoxy group) in the presence of a transition metal and its ligand using a polymerization initiator.
