PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a power transmission composed of a transmission mechanism having two electric power devices (generator and motor) and a clutch mechanism. SOLUTION: Generator gears 15 and 18 freely rotatable with respect to the input shaft 3 of a transmission mechanism for changing the rotational speed of an engine, and clutch mechanisms 16 and 17 for integrally rotating the input shaft 3 of the transmission mechanism and the generator gears 15 and 18, are provided between the engine and the transmission mechanism. Also, a motor 41 is provided in the rear side of the transmission mechanism on the extended line of the input shaft 3 of the transmission mechanism. Thus, the power transmission of an automobile is miniaturized. |
