<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove unnecessary uncomfortableness and uneasiness by receiving the signal from an engine speed sensor and the traction reducing action signal from a driving force control system, suppressing the fluctuation of engine speed during a traction reducing action, and displaying the signal and engine speed. SOLUTION: During a traction control (TCS) action reducing the engine torque if the slip quantity calculated based on the wheel speed information from wheel speed sensors 7-10 is a threshold value or above in a travel having the occurrence of drive wheel slips, a limiter process is conducted to suppress the fluctuation of the engine speed shown by sensor signals, the engine speed suppressed with rotation fluctuations is displayed on a tachometer 20, and a TCS action indicator 19 blinks. The fluctuation of the engine speed display on the tachometer 20 is suppressed, its display fluctuation nearly corresponds to the engine speed fluctuation bodily felt by a driver, and unnecessary uncomfortableness and uneasiness to the driver can be removed.</p> |
