PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool slidable parallel left, right, back and forth on a fabric so as to remove an embroidery thread and readily removing the thread. SOLUTION: This tool for removing an embroidery is obtained by bringing a platy cutter 7 into close contact with a parallel stabilizer 4 parallel thereto on the lower side of the parallel stabilizer 4, attaching a means 1 for making the tool easily holdable by a hand to the upper side of the parallel stabilizer 4 and further installing the parallel stabilizer 4 in order to move the tool in close contact with the top surface of the embroidered fabric and parallel thereto left, right, back and forth on the fabric.
