TACKY ADHESIVE TAPE FOR PROTECTING CAR BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tacky adhesive tape for car body protection use enabling of a damage on the surface of a car body to be easily found during the period from the assembly in an automobile factory to the delivery to user by using a tacky adhesive film having a layer containing microcapsules including a color-developing component. SOLUTION: The objective tacky adhesive tape has two or more layers comprising a substrate layer 1 (preferably composed mainly of a polyolefin resin) and a tacky adhesive layer 2 (composed mainly of at least one component selected from polyisobutylene, butyl rubber and polybutene), wherein at least one layer contains microcapsules 3 including a color-developing component. Preferably, the microcapsules are present in the tacky adhesive layer 2 or a layer containing microcapsules 3 is formed between the substrate layer 1 and the tacky adhesive layer 2.
