PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a printing system which make users of the number not smaller than the number of physical bins of the printer possess special bins and which can transmit printing data simultaneously to the plurality of users. SOLUTION: A printer 12 connected via a network to a plurality of computers and having physical bins for outputting printed matter has a memory part where a plurality of virtual bins are set. Each user is let to possess one's special virtual bin. Each user operates the computer and transmits printing data designated by desired one or more virtual bins to the printer 12, whereby a printed matter is sent to users with the virtual bins.
