PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cervical vertebrae protecting instrument by which a pain when it is arranged is relieved. SOLUTION: A wide belt shape body 11 is wound around the neck part 13 of a patient with disabled cervical vertebra to suppress the movement of the neck part 13 by this cervical vertebra protecting instrument 10. First and second support members 14 and 15 for respectively independently pressing the neck part 13 are disposed at positions corresponding to the both side parts of cervical vertebra 12 in the belt shape body 11 and a space part 17 is formed between the support members 14 and 15. Pressure loaded on cervical vertebra 12 is mitigated with the belt shape body 11 and the pain when the patient with disability in the neck part 13 puts it on is relieved.
