PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently clean polluted environment by protecting a microorganism group by simple operation by using a chemical agent available at low cost. SOLUTION: Microorganisms for seeding are added to a culture tank 1 from a microoganism feed passage and org. matter and mutritive salts are subsequently added thereto form a nutrient feed passage 6 and, if necessary, air or oxygen is sent to the culture tank from an air feed passage 7 to perform culture while stirring the culture soln. in the culture tank by a stirrer 8. The obtained microorganism culture soln. is introduced into a flocculation tank 2 through a communication passage 9 and an inorg. flocculant and/or an org. flocculant is added to the flocculation tank 2 from a flocculant feed passage 10 and a pH control agent is added thereto from a chemical injection passage 11 and the culture soln. is stirred by a stirrer 12 to form flocs of microorganisms. The obtained microorganism flocs 3 are injected in a polluted ground water channel 17 from an injection well 4 and a pollutant is decomposed by microorganisms.
