PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily adjust a parallel degree of a recording medium guiding section with respect to a carriage shaft and a gap between the section and a recording head. SOLUTION: Guiding blocks divided in the width direction of a recording medium in a recording medium guiding section are juxtaposed. A cross section of a guiding body 41 forming each of the guiding block is formed in a T-shape and is urged toward the recording head by a spring 44 and the position thereof can be adjusted by a support frame 43. A cam 54 acting on a cam surface 48a of the guiding block is rotatably attached to the support frame 43 and an arc-shaped long hole 55 centering around the cam shaft is provided to the other end of a cam lever 52. A fixing screw 56 to be fixed to the support frame is inserted to the long hole. After the guiding position is adjusted, the cam lever 52 is fixed to the support frame 43 in the condition that the cam surface is pressed against the cam by the spring 44.
