PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify operation, and reduce labor for working by interlocking a discharge port opening and closing lever with a wheel drive. SOLUTION: An applicator consists of a broad paint tank 4 having an discharge port 4a in a lower part and for storing paint, and a discharge port opening and closing lever 30 which can be opened and closed the port 4a. When the discharge port opening and closing lever 30 is opened, wheels 2, 3 are automatically driven, and the port 4a is opened simultaneously to flow out the paint, which forms a coating film on a road surface. When the discharge port opening and closing lever 30 is closed, the drive of wheels 2, 3 are stopped, and the port 4a is closed simultaneously to stop outflow of the paint.
