PURPOSE: Auto shutter blade driving structure for an air conditioner is provided to prevent air inlet into a portion that an air conditioner does not cover during air conditioning operation of an auto shutter air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: On operation of an air conditioner, upper and lower grills(50,51) are open to suck indoor air into an air conditioner. As an operating plate(58) is positioned at a lowest end, under cooling operation of air conditioner, the operating plate rises up to a top end. An operating shaft(55) moves up to one side end of a driving groove(54) by primary and secondary operating grooves(3,6) for opening entire blade(53) connected thereto. With air cleaning operation, the operating plate descends about a half of maximal stroke distance, which is a distance that a primary erecting portion(2) of the primary operating groove(3) descends for keeping the operating shaft(55) from moving. The blade connected to the operating shaft maintains an open state. Inside of a case that is a forming position of the primary operating groove(3), an air conditioner is installed. In descending of the operating plate, the operating shaft(55) immediately moves by a secondary bending portion(5) of the secondary operating groove(6) to close off the blade(53).
