PURPOSE: A positive temperature coefficient resistance unit is provided to maintain an excellent conductivity and to achieve a superior switching capacity at over a pre-determined temperature. CONSTITUTION: A positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resistance unit molds a synthetic resin composition of a plate shape (1) by adding two kinds of carbon black 26-48weight% having different average particle size each other to the composition, and installs plate-shaped electrodes (2, 2') on both surfaces thereof. The positive temperature coefficient resistance unit has an advantage of providing a high conductivity required at a low temperature and a high electric resistance required at a high temperature, by adding two kinds of carbon black having different particle size as the conductive material to the synthetic resin composition for manufacturing the synthetic resin plates included in the positive temperature coefficient resistance unit.
