APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING HANDOFF IN CDMA USING PICO BASE STATION

PURPOSE: An apparatus for supporting a handoff function in a CDMA using a PICO base station is provided for converting a frequency allocation signal of a underground base station into another frequency allocation frequency which is operated on the ground and supporting an idle handoff and a frequency handoff with respect to a current call which is being communicated. CONSTITUTION: A first PLL syndisizer(100) mixes a frequency(FA1) by a control of an input terminal signal of a PLL. A second PLL syndisizer(200) mixes other frequencies based on time in accordance with a control of an input terminal signal of the PLL. An up-converter(300) modulates the mixed frequency(FA1) of the first PLL syndisizer(100) and modulates into a frequency signal based on the mixed frequencies(FA2¯FA7) of the second PLL syndisizer(200). The frequency(FA1) is mixed in accordance with a control of the input terminals(CLK, DATA, STROBE) of the PLL of the first PLL syndisizer(100).
