TEMPORARY INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ELEVATING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A temporary installation method for elevating structure is provided to improve the quality and reduce the term of hook-up or precommetioning and construction cost by jacking leg system. CONSTITUTION: In the temporary installation method for installing block in the continuous truss bridge of three clear span, a jacking leg(14) part is made up with large pipe which resists the weight of block. And the sleeve(15) part is connected with the block to elevate the lifting block, and encloses and guides the jacking leg to go up and down. The top, bottom yoke(17,18) part connect directly the lifting block with sleeve. The cross head(16) part is placed on the jacking leg column and the structure which installs a strand jack. The self aligning pad(19) part is installed to make the minimum friction when the jacking leg slides and makes the jacking leg lean according the deformation of structure. The push system part moves the whole block, and the grillage(10) part is installed on the pile and disperses the load which occurs during lifting and transfers to the numerous pile.
