METHOD FOR PROVIDING ARRIVAL BELL IN MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for providing an arrival bell in a mobile terminal is provided for using a certain sound as a bell signal of a mobile terminal by a sound communication method used in a mobile communication network. CONSTITUTION: A sound generator(20) generates an analog original sound. A vocoder(21) of a mobile communication network encodes a sound signal in order to transmit the sound signal from the sound generator(20) to a mobile terminal. A vocoder(22) receives the sound signal transmitted from the vocoder of the mobile communication network and decodes the signal when the signal is output to a speaker(24) of the mobile terminal. A memory(23) of the mobile terminal stores an encoded sound packet inputted through the vocoder(22) of the mobile terminal.
